Training with KR Dogs

Dog training and behavior modification services are offered through my company, KR Dog Training LLC!

Owning a dog can be overwhelming, and sometimes you just want someone to show you the roadmap to success. I can help! I am passionate about rehabilitating dogs with reactive behaviors as well as setting up families with newly adopted dogs for a life full of confidence and good behaviors.

Our Philosphy

At KR Dog Training, I prioritize growing your pup’s confidence and building a positive, trusting relationship between you and your pet.  My training style consists of games, enrichment, and management in order to restructure the way your dog views and interacts with his/her environment. By teaching a dog what he/she should do in a way that pays off and stopping those undesirable behaviors, we create life long results without the use of extra punishment or aversive tools. I do not use or endorse the use of physical force or intimidation in training. (For more information on my beliefs, I suggest reading the IAABC Statement on LIMA.)

I fully believe that in order for a dog to reach his/her full potential, his/her needs must be met. For this reason, my family does not always feed our dogs out of bowls. Instead, we use daily rations during our scavenging activities, short training sessions, and other methods of ditching the bowl. Part of your training package includes teaching your family how to discover what your dog needs! (Check out this awesome book to learn about enrichment!)

Attention Rescues:

I offer free learning material and steep discounts on training sessions to rescue groups. Please contact me to set up a group workshop, evaluation, or consult.

I use concept-based training, which allows dogs to learn important life skills that are transferable to any environment – including the adoptive home. These 3-minute games are easy for fosters and adopters to learn and use with all dogs in their lives.
